An instructor at Habibia School in Kabul gives an exam for a Pashto language class during the final week of classes before the winter. The school was once a major battle ground during Mujhideen fighting in the 1990s and was occupied by the warlord Gen. Rashid Dostum allied with the Northern Alliance and still controls much of the northern porvinces of Afghanistan.
